Includes Maternity, Newborn, & Family.

Every person in a family is unique, and everyone's family dynamic is different. That's why I like to meet each family member before photographing them. I love to photograph children in motion, parents interacting with their kids, and the family in the moment. I am grateful they are not meant to sit still - let them play and be who they are right now. Parents, I hope you get right in there, too. My family photography session will capture those joyful, fleeting moments of you and your children. Before you know it, they will be grown.

FAQ

What is your approach to photographing kids?

Honestly, I'm kind of a goofball and kids think I am hilarious. I started my photography career by photographing kids, so I have many years of learning to connect and interact with children.

The key seems to be creating a fun, relaxed environment where kids can be themselves rather than forcing posed smiles, which often results in more authentic and meaningful photographs that families will treasure.

What do I have to do to prepare my home for our in home session?

You just have to decide what you are willing to have photographed. Your home is the back drop, so everything in it has the potential to be in your photos. I am there to capture moments, I may move elements if they are too distracting for a set of images.

That being said, there is something beautiful about real life, the everyday mundane and the real deal. You decide what needs to be in the photos and what should be removed. Removal of distracting elements in post production comes at an additional cost.
