What is The Reclamation Experience?

A Reclamation Experience is a photographic journey for women. Any woman can have this session and it will be designed just for them. With so many aspects to be planned and every detail to be decided upon, Reclamation Sessions are a collaboration project that require time. It's best to know which season you'd like to be photographed in as all Reclamation Experience sessions are captured with Mother Nature being our backdrop. Clothing


While I do not put a cap on how many outfit changes can be done it's important to keep in mind our allotted time frame, the possible weather conditions and the advantage of staying in the moment. I don't like to mess with natural moments, thats why we do such extensive planning for your shoot. We will plan everything you need to be photographed in and I promise you, that you will look amazing!


Locations


Reclamation Experiences are fully customisable and if you would like to visit more than one epic location we can add more time or days to your project.

It's a road trip! Once we have our final destination decided, our time in the car will have multiple stops along the way. I follow the light and landscapes, and we never know where either will lead us.


Products


My clients are in love with the folio boxes, albums and custom framed images. The majority of the products offered are sourced locally or within Canada, with a couple international vendors thrown in because I couldn't say no to the beautiful items to offer!


Your Story


Every woman's story is different and unique. It's also very personal and at times private. I will NEVER force a woman to share their story on my public platform. If you wish to share your story with me for the purpose of this experience but do not want it shared with the world, believe me when I say, it will be kept private. Your privacy is of the utmost importance to me.

 

Please know that having a story is not conditional of this session, A Reclamation Experience is for every woman!


FAQ

How Much Does it Cost?

While packages start at $1500 and go up, they are based on time away shooting and the products that are offered in each package. You are NOT bound to a pre made package. I want you to love what you purchase and you are fully able to create your own custom package that is suited just for you. When you combine 3 or more products or prints you will receive a special discount.

A non-refundable retainer and a signed contract is required to secure your booking.

Can I Bring Someone With Me?

Absolutely! Bring your best friend, bring your sister, bring your mother. Bring someone who would want to have this experience with you. I offer special pricing when we combine travel and multiple sessions.

What If I Have To Cancel?

Ok so I am not a heartless monster and I completely understand that life can surely throw a wrench into plans. If you need to cancel your experience, you may have an opportunity to get a portion of your non refundable retainer back. If you need to reschedule due to illness, family emergency or any other of life's unforeseen circumstances, I will do my absolute best to accommodate a date change. This is limited to 1 complimentary date change.

Can My Partner Come With Me?

I will never say no to this. The Reclamation Experience is an opportunity to explore your feelings and emotions in a safe space. Most women prefer to do this by themselves or with other important women in their life.
If this session is something your would like to do with your partner let's talk about how we can make it a special moment for the both of you or perhaps you would rather book a special session that features you both.

Boudoir

Solo or Couples Session

Boudoir is a celebration of ones self, a session of love and acceptance. It is empowering and in some cases transformative. Boudoir sessions go smoothly when they are planned, from the outfits, to the location, the prep, and the process. Boudoir sessions are tailored to you, reach out and speak with me to talk pricing.

Retreats

Retreats are a great way to have your session in a great location hosted at a Airbnb. No more than 10 women will attend as well as the host (me, Billie), an assistant and up to two guest speakers. Retreats are usually 2-3 nights and includes accommodation, meals, and either a Reclamation Experience or a boudoir session. Come alone or bring a friend.


Upcoming Retreats will be posted here as well as in my private Facebook Group The Reclamation Experience.

This group is for women only, it not only showcases finished sessions but it also serves as a safe space to express feelings and seek advice and support. Number one RULE for the group............ Kindness & Understanding.
