The story of a photographer

I am a lover of the mountains and nature in general, places where my mind can't help but feel calm and at peace.

I am a seeker of love and beauty in the everyday mundane. I want to find and capture the moments that connect you to your loved ones, that showcase the most natural and organic emotions and feelings that you have for one another.

I do not focus on posing as much I focus on the relationship and the love. I do my best to portray the care and closeness that you have for one another.

My aim is to give you images that bring you back in time and remember those moments, and the love you shared when they were taken.

Tell me your story of love and connection, and let me show others the love you share.

The real me

After 16 years of shooting just about every genre, I have decided to narrow down and shoot the sessions that light my soul on fire. When I am not travelling around the back roads of Alberta shooting beautiful women, I am most likely watching Star Trek or planning my next passion project. OR.... I'm travelling the back roads in search of places to shoot beautiful women. It's almost obsessive at this point.

In the off season AKA winter, I am shooting when I can, but I am mostly immersed in planning for The Shooting Range: A Photography Challenge. You see I co-created a national online elimination photography challenge and it's something I am pretty proud of. With top of the industry photographers coming together to mentor and guide the competitors, and thoughtful challenges that are sure to get shooters thinking harder about the why behind their photographs. We also connect communities, Canadian businesses and charities by promoting them and highlighting what they are doing in their communities.

Testimonials

Lisa B

“These images have been engrained in my heart. The whole experience was everything I could have hoped for and more! The road trip, the conversation, and the moments of laughter. Billie and I had a few tearful moments during this project and it became something so much more than I expected. It all added up to create an encounter I won't soon forget.
If you are thinking about doing this already, I promise you its an adventure you don't want to miss!”
